Description
Will is used to feeling invisible, especially when it comes to his body image. After one hurtful comment in elementary school, he starts seeing himself as “the fat kid,” and the thought follows him through middle school. Desperate to change, he begins extreme dieting, convinced that being thinner will make him happier.
As Will spirals deeper into unhealthy habits, he pushes away his friends and loses sight of himself. But when he connects with new people who see him for more than his appearance, he starts to question whether changing his body is really the answer to his problems. Through their support, he begins to see that self-worth isn’t about size—it’s about confidence and kindness.
In the end, Will learns that he’s still a work in progress, but that’s okay. Growth isn’t about becoming someone else—it’s about accepting who you are.
